This week we continued our replacement of the awning in Seagoville. The awning was damaged by wind, snow and hail. We demolished the old awning (see previous blog posts) and reframed the new awning with steel members. We welded and bolted the awning structure. In places where the structure framing has been completed we have begun to install the 24 gauge structural steel panel roof system. We will continue to frame and install the roof with an eye on finishing in a couple of weeks.
The goal of Accede Construction Projects' blog is to provide a more tangible insight into the depth and quality of the services we offer at Accede Construction. In addition to providing a look into our current and past projects, we hope to be an industry resource to our clients, potential clients and to our general reader. www.accedeconstructionprojects.blogspot.com www.axede.net

Commercial Construction/Wind, Hail and Snow
This month we began work on replacing damaged awnings at a church in Seagoville, TX. The damaged awnings were constructed of aluminum framing and fiberglass roof panels. The awning was unable to withstand damaging straight line winds and then sustained further damaged due to a heavy snow fall. We have demised the existing structure and set the new posts. Once the new posts were set we began framing the new awning structure with heavy gauge prepainted steel members. We welded and bolted the new steel members together. Once the framing is complete we will install the new 22 gauge structural steel roof panels.
