Residential Construction/Structural Repair

Before: Sagging wooden support beam and siding
This week we had a client in Hickory Creek, TX request that we repair a sagging garage header on the front of their home.  We removed the existing sagging timber header and siding and prepared the area for the repair.  We installed a ½” steel angle support lentil beam.  Once the steel support beam was secured and welded into place we started work on putting the wall above the garage door back together.  The brick originally used on the house had been discontinued, however we were able to find a lot remnant that matched perfectly.  Our masonry crew reworked the area which previously had siding on it.  We rebuilt the arch and our masonry craftsmen installed the matching brick to perfection.  The finished project looks magnificent, as if the house was built that way!  Our client is very happy as they are preparing to place their home on the real estate market.  The garage had been a concern to previous home inspectors, but now it looks perfect.  Upon completion we cleaned the project perimeter and now you can’t even tell we were ever there.
