Today we tackled a window replacement project in Denton, TX. We removed 14 existing single paned steel framed windows. We replaced them with Energy Star rated double pane vinyl windows. We were able to order the new energy efficient windows with almond colored framed to enhance the ultimate curb side appeal of the home. The new windows also have Low E glass which negates the transfer of infrared heat rays as well as damaging ultraviolet rays. When removing the old windows we encountered some deteriorated window nailers and trim that had to be replaced. We performed all needed carpentry and prepared the window openings for the new energy efficient windows. The final result of the window replacement will be monumental energy savings as well as greatly improved aesthetics.
