FLOWER MOUND, DENTON COUNTY, TX: CONCRETE PATIO CONSTRUCTION

In Flower Mound, Denton County, TX we worked with a client to solve some serious drainage problems.  The back elevation of their home is completely exposed to the west meaning that every time a storms moves through it soaks and sometimes floods their home.  We excavated the back patio area and prepared it for a new concrete patio.  The preparation included the installation of a grade beam as well as tying steel throughout the new patio structure.  Once all of the preparation was complete we poured the new concrete.  We graded the new patio away from the house in order to drain rain water properly.  We plan to construct a fully framed patio cover structure to completely protect the home from the elements.  Once the concrete was poured and graded we broom finished the patio with a no-slip texture.

LAKE HIGHLANDS, DALLAS, TX: Hail and Wind Damage

This client’s home sustained hail & wind damage in 2011.  We were able to assist our client with their insurance claim

PREPARING FOR CONCRETE SLAB

We replaced the composition roof, attic ventilation, gutters, entry door, windows & window screens.  We also had the privilege to remove the glass sun room around the back porch.  We poured a new color mixed grade beamed concrete slab with a brick border.  We then constructed a patio cover structure with cedar support post & beams.  To finish out the structure we installed a standing seam steel panel roof system, accent lighting on dimmer switches & ceiling fans.
